Werner, the Master Barber
When Werner was just 16 years old, he started cutting hair under a Lapa at the back of his mom's home. It wasn't long before he realized that he had a talent for cutting hair, and he started to dream about pursuing a career in this field.
After graduating from high school, Werner joined college and started working in a Salon at the same time. He was determined to learn all that he could about cutting hair, and he worked tirelessly to improve his skills.
In his first year, he was forced to take part in an inter-college competition. Despite being nervous, Werner chose to do the gent cut Division and competed with 1st year students and senior 3rd-year students. He chose to do a classic James Dean cut, and to everyone's surprise, he won the first prize.
This win inspired Werner to train even more. He was determined to be the best barber in South Africa. He focused on cutting short technical haircuts and became so skilled that he could do a flat top freehand.
His precision cuts became extremely popular, and he became known for his ability to create perfect cuts every time.
Werner's skill level grew and he flew to London to get more training in Barbering. He learned from various male barbers and combined his 25 years of experience to create unique cutting techniques.
Despite owning shops, Werner's dream was to open an Authentic Barber shop for men only. He wanted to showcase his skills to the world in a unique space designed exclusively for men. Finally, he succeeded in opening his dream barber shop, 'Master Barber' in Nigel.
Werner's reputation grew, and his work became irritatingly perfect. So much so, that every new customer he cut, told him that it was the best haircut they had ever had. His shop became a haven for men looking for an authentic barber experience.
Today, Werner is known as the Master Barber - a true testament to his years of hard work, dedication, and passion. He inspires young barbers to follow in his footsteps and to keep the art of barbering alive.
Werner has become a true legend in his field, and we are proud to call him one of our own.
